Monte Cicogna
The Mediterranean vineyard
Located in Moniga del Garda, the vineyard is cultivated in an ideal territory long dedicated to viticulture and olive growing. This is made possible by the Mediterranean microclimate, which is influenced by the lake and the adjacent wooded hills. The soil, which is of morainic origin, is primarily a clay-limestone type, though it exhibits variations depending on the individual plots.
Lugana: An emblematic excellence
Located in San Rocco di Lugana, the Lugana vineyards are fundamentally rooted in the distinctive white clay soil, the crucial foundation for yielding this excellent, namesake wine. These lands currently yield a production of 80,000 bottles, divided into two types: Santa Caterina and Imperiale. Both are strictly produced in adherence to the company’s high quality standards.
Brolo, Siclì, Beana, Fontane, Boselli
The vineyards are situated facing the lake on a southeast-facing terrace, which is caressed every morning by the Pelér wind blowing from the northern end of the lake. This is an exceptional microclimate for grapevines and olive trees. Based on the characteristics of the soil and the grape variety, each plot is dedicated to the production of a particular type of wine: the young Groppello, the Riviera red, and the Chiaretto.
Rubinere
Nestled at the foot of the wooded Monte Cicogna hill, this vineyard is reserved for a dual production: the white Riesling Renano and the Riviera red wines. This has a cooler microclimate compared to the lake-front vineyards, resulting in a later grape ripening.
